1.KNEZ MIHAILOVA STREET
This is the main pedestrian street in Belgrade and the most famous pedestrian street in Serbia.This histerično street is 70m long, spreading from Kalemegdan to Terazije squere.It was named after the young prince Mihailo Obrenovic, who died tragically.Today,this street is one of the busiest in Belgrade, with a rich culture herotage and also modern šoping malls,such as Rajiceva šoping center.
2.TERAZIJE SQUARE
TERAZIJE FOUNTAIN
This is Belgrade’s most famous square.which has existed sunce the time of the Ottoman empire.Not so long ago.Terazije was the center of Belgrade’s culture life.The symbol of Terazije is the Terazije fountain.
3.HOTEL MOSCOW
Hotel Moscow is not only the most beautiful building in Terazije, but also one of the most beautiful buildings in ali of Belgrade.It was budite in tne Art Nouveau style in 1906.The surface of the external walls is covered from floor to roof with yellowish tiles made of Žolnai ceramics from the Hungarian town of Pècs.
4.KALEMEGDAN FORTRESS
For most tourists,Kalemegdan is the first association with Belgrade.For Belgrade,this fortress has an unspeakably great importance, because it was the rampart around the whole city was built.Kalemegdan is located rights at the confluance of the Sava and the Danube, in the urban city center.That is why, according to some statistic, the number of visitors to the fortress is over 2,000,000 tourists per year.

5.SKADARLIJA DISTRICT
After Kalemegdan,Skadarlija is the most touristy place in Belgrade.It is located in Skadarska street, in the heart of Belgrade, paved with cobblestones.
6.NATIONAL THEATER
The most famous Belgrade theater is located near Skadarlija, on Trg Republike square, not far from Knez Mihailova street.Opera is performed there, as well as balet and drama.
7.REPUBLIC SQUARE (AND A HORSE)
This is central Belgrade square.We locals call it ‘the horse’ because of its most famous monument in the honor of Knez Mihailo Obrenovic.
8.NIKOLA PASIC SQUARE
This is another of the main Belgrade squares,located between Terazije and King Alexander Boulevard. It was named after the Serbian politička Nikola Pasic. The square has been renovated in 2024.
9.PARLIAMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA
This building is the seat of Serbian parliament, the place where the New Year is celebrated in Belgrade, but also where political protests are sometimes held.
10.BELGRADE WOMEN (Palace of Belgrade,black widow)
This building is 101 m high and has 24 floors. It was built in 1974, and for a long time it was important bussiness center.Today, it remains as a reminder of a past time.
11.GENEX TOWER
This is another reminder of the era of socialism in Serbia.Belgraders call this building ‘the West Gate of Belgrade.

12.CHURCH OF SAINT SAVA
This is the largest Serbian Ortodox temple.It is the second largest Ortodox church in the Balkans,after the Church of Salvation of the people in Bucharest, and the tird largest Ortodox church in the world,after the church of of Christ the Savior in Moscow.The temple was named after Saint Sava,one of most important Serbian saints.
13.BELGADE WATERFRONT
This is the project of Government of Serbia with the aim to improve Belgrade economy.The project started back in 2014. and is still ongoing. What makes this part of Belgrade interesting for tourists is Galerija shopping center, the biggest shopping center in Southeast Europe.
